Background

Roswitha Brender holds a Masters Degree in Sociology, Psychology and Social Anthropology of Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg (Germany), with special focus on development studies, organisational and industrial psychology and with the regional focus on Asia and Africa. The title of her master thesis was: „Environment and Development in the Context of Globalisation and local Praxis”. Her native language is German; she is fluent in English and good in French.

After her first degree she completed an advanced training in Business Administration and a postgraduate course in „Food Security in Developing Countries” at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. In addition she participated in various advanced training sessions on:
