• Consultancy and support to a disaster preparedness project as well as drug rehabilitation programme in Bangladesh, financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
• Consultant for the World Student Christian Federation (WSCF): Evaluation of the „Ecumenical Assistance Programme“, financed by Evangelischer Entwicklungsdienst (EED).
• Consultant for the Solar Energy Foundation: Consultancy and support in planning and elaboration of public-private-partnership projects in Ethiopia.
• Member of an international commission of experts assigned by Action by Churches Together (ACT) for the verification of sexual misuse accusations in West African refugee camps (Sierra Leone, Guinea, Liberia).
• Member of an international evaluation team assigned by Ecumenical Diaconia for impact monitoring of Tsunami projects in India.
• Trainer for standards and evaluation of humanitarian action.
• Lecturer for the Joint European Master Programme in International Humanitarian Action (NOHA) at the Ruhr-University Bochum.
• Several years as Desk Officer of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, responsible for aid projects of local partners at the Horn of Africa.
